Multi Bet
A multi bet is made by adding several outcomes to the bet slip at once. The odds of all selections are multiplied together to give the total odds. Example: three selections at odds 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36; on a ৳100 stake, if all three win, you get back ৳336.
But be careful: if any one selection loses, you lose the entire ৳100. Multi bets offer a higher potential return, but the chance of winning is also lower.
Betting Exchange
On an exchange, you can bet not just on a team to win, but also on a team to lose. Example: BACK Team A at odds 1.80 (৳1,000 stake) — if Team A wins, ৳800 profit (before commission); if they do not win, you lose ৳1,000.
LAY (betting against Team A, on a backer's ৳1,000 stake) — liability ৳800; if Team A does not win, ৳1,000 profit (before commission); if Team A wins, you pay out ৳800.
