Three selections: decimal odds 1.40, 1.50 and 1.60. Combined odds: 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36 (rounded). A ৳100 bet returns ৳336 — but only if all three selections win. One loss and the full ৳100 is gone.
Betting Exchange Example
Team A's odds on the exchange are 1.80. BACK: a ৳1,000 bet wins ৳800 profit if Team A wins, or loses ৳1,000 if they lose. LAY: against a bettor's ৳1,000 stake your liability is ৳800; if Team A does not win you collect ৳1,000, if they do win you pay ৳800 — commission applies.
Decimal Odds Calculation for a Cricket Match
In a limited-overs match, Team A's odds are 2.10 and Team B's odds are 1.75. There is no draw in this format, so one of the two outcomes will occur.
A ৳1,000 bet on Team B: if Team B wins the total return is ৳1,750 (৳750 profit). If Team A wins you lose ৳1,000. A ৳1,000 bet on Team A: if Team A wins the return is ৳2,100 (৳1,100 profit).
